Over 2000 Achievements
Late 2008 Largs School of Motoring celebrated its 2000th driving test pass.
Success for Local Driving School
Ayrshire’s largest independent driving school has doubled in size since the start of 2004! L.S.M., covers a much wider area than before, teaching pupils from Ayr to Renfrew including pupils as far east as Stewarton and Cumnock. Our Instructors who are ALL fully qualified and certified by the Driving Standards Agency live as far apart as Troon and Bridge of Weir which gives us the scope and flexibility to cover a large area of Ayrshire, The Islands, Inverclyde and Renfrewshire.

Largs School of Motoring., Proprietor, Kenn Muir, firmly believes that the Customer, PUPIL, comes first and is the most important person within the Driving School. Driving Lessons have got to be enjoyable as well as informative. With our team of well trained Instructors we are able to sustain and increase our business based largely on our ability to use well trained enthusiastic and committed team of Instructors.
Since the Company started in 1999 ALL the Instructors over the years have worked very hard to push our pass rates to well above the National Average of 42.3%. On this basis, recognising what it takes to make an instructor successful has been a key element in our success. Our instructors are our biggest resource.

LSM is continuing to maintain its pass rate for learners at between 15 to 20% ahead of national figures.
With a healthy active client base, LSM realises the importance of good client care. Our good reputation is paramount. We see the importance of really helping people achieve their ambition to drive. For some people this can be quite a challenge. If a manual car is proving to be a hurdle then it is always worth contemplating changing to our Automatic car.
In getting more clients through their test we are also helping ourselves, as in this business we are only as good as our last pass. Ironically our business’ true growth is measured not in the new clients we attract month on month but actually by the number we lose because they’ve passed their Driving Test. |
